We will be holding our Father’s Day Pancake breakfast on Sunday, June 20th from 8 a.m. until Noon at the Prospect Firehouse.  Sign up’s will be out soon!

This Summer 2021 we will have our annual Summer Camp week. We will be attending camp at June Norcross Webster Boy Scout Camp located in Ashland, CT.  Scout Summer Camp - June Norcross Webster Scout Reservation - Ashford, Connecticut (gotowebster.org) We are reserved for Sunday July 18th to Saturday July 24th. If paid in full by May 1st the cost per Scout is $450. But  if you are a returning scout from 2019 Summer Camp the Troop will pay $50 towards your Summer Camp. For new campers the Troop will pay $25 towards your SummerCamp.  Payment after May 1st the cost goes up to $475. 

Every rank in scouting is reached through accomplishments by the Scout. The requirements are age-appropriate activities that help grow and mold the boy into a self-sufficient, confident, able man. Themes run through the rank requirements from Scout to Eagle. The troop adult leadership presents many opportunities to complete requirements at troop meetings, outdoor activities and summer camp. Scouts and parents should note that it is the Scout's responsibility to stay in touch with his own progress and seek to complete the requirements for rank advancement. At any time, Scouts can reach out to an adult leader to discuss his progress towards the next rank.
